Thank you so very much for sharing your most beautiful and special song you composed and allowed us the honor to perform. It has always been such a treat singing together and enjoying how you create music since we both began as Sisters of the Magnus Chord Organ beginnings, lol! You my dear have taken your love of music so far and I cannot tell you how fun it is hearing you perform and seeing you grow your business. All the best to you in the coming years!
Powerful! Beautiful! I, like you, have told myself I’m not a real musician. I play piano, I read music, I memorize some of what I play, I even perform casually, but my brother has always been the talented one, not me. I am glad that you realized you are truly talented, a real musician and a fine one! I loved listening to your song performed by so many voices. It made me want to sing in a choir again. It made me want to work on that song I started composing about 40 years ago. If I ever do finish composing that song, I might actually believe I have musical talent… 🎶 Keep writing music and words and keep singing!🎵
Oh, I absolutely love hearing this! I want you to work on that song you started composing 40 years ago, too. This time you’ll finish. I believe in you!
That “not a real musician” feeling is a powerful one. And some musicians are judgmental. But the folks I consider true musicians are the ones cheering for anyone who wants to make music. They don’t gatekeep.
Join a choir! I can’t tell you just how being part of a community like that has shaped my life and made me so much happier.
I hadn’t played piano in a long while until I ended up in this hospital where my son is recovering from surgery. I found an electric baby grand downstairs in a chapel that is empty every time I go in. I’ve been playing it every day and working on my song. It is morphing into something new and improved. One day soon I’ll find out how to write it down. I’ll ask my brother, the “real musician” how to do that. lol. Thank you for your inspiration & encouragement.

Thank you, Cindy! It was an honor to write music for the Peace Choir, and an even bigger honor to hear you all singing a song I created.
